Vegan protein

People who practice veganism seem to get bombarded with questions on where they get their protein. Although it’s an essential part of our daily diet, many people think we need to eat way more than we actually do; grains, soy and tofu provide adequate amounts of vegan protein.

What other foods contain vegan protein?
• Almonds
• Peanut butter
• Baked beans
• Brown rice
• Broccoli

A vegan diet is perfectly healthy, as long as there is enough of calorie-intake in addition to protein. Nutritionists recommend individuals eat 0.36 grams of vegan protein per pound that they weigh.
